Directory Guide

To help accomadate would-be vegetarians through to strict vegetarians, venues have been given one out of three grades. These grades are:

1 STAR - venue sells some food or meals that do not contain meat or fish. However meat by-products may be used, cheeses may not be suitable for true “vegetarians” and eggs may not be free range.

2 STAR - the cooking staff are aware of the various meat / fish by-products and these are not used in vegetarian meals. Cheeses will be suitable when used in a vegetarian meal. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are cooked and prepared seperately. There should be a vegetarian option for all courses.

3 STAR - Free range eggs are used, utensils are not shared between vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals and they are prepared and cooked seperately. All meat by-products are excluded from vegetarian meals. There should be a vegetarian option for all courses.

Locations are sorted into:

  1. Main Region
  2. County or Borough
  3. Main town or city nearest to them.
